The Partial Site
Master Plan
These plans offer creative and well-researched concept designs tailored to your specific needs, transforming your outdoor space, whatever its size, into something truly special.
Process
INITIAL CONSULTATION
We begin with a site visit to get to know you and familiarize ourselves with the garden. This initial meeting and conversation forms the basis upon which the design proposals are made and is often referred to as the client brief.

SITE VISIT AND MEASUREMENTS
Site measurements, dimensions, and photographs provide a complete site analysis, essential for all design work. If you already have a measured site plan, that's even better! This analysis informs the creation of a base plan, the foundation for subsequent design development.

CONCEPT DESIGN
Based on the client brief, site analysis, and measurements, we'll develop initial garden concepts, presented through hand-drawn sketches and mood boards. These concepts, including a general layout plan and perspectives, serve as a working basis for defining the garden's layout and other key aspects. Approved concepts will then be compiled into a document to guide the final master plan development.

FINAL MASTER PLAN
Produced after the concept design has been agreed, these drawings develop the chosen concept layout into an overall masterplan. Material palettes, spatial arrangements and locations, as well as a planting palette with general character of the planting will be proposed.

CONSTRUCTION PLANS
Should you wish to move forward with construction, the next phase may involve developing construction plans. Depending on the complexity of the design, these plans may include measured layout plans, grading plans, and planting plans, all accompanied by detailed specifications for materials, products, and plantings, enabling accurate bidding and construction.
